I am incredibly excited this week as I finish TCH432 tomorrow. Life after TCH432 essentially means life after graduate school as I am finally graduating! Wahoo!
My professor asked me to consider was knowledge I would like to pursue in the next 6 weeks, before I return to teaching full-time. That list is so extensive, I honestly don't know if I will be able to accomplish it. But one can always dream, right?
Among my biggest ambitions for the summer is understanding how to edit and prioritize this list. I have learned so much in my ed tech courses, and even more in my year off from teaching, that I am ready to try, test, and implement so many different ideas. However, because time is moving forward and because not all great ideas are the best-suited ideas, I will be spending a good deal of time evaluating the following list to better understand IF and HOW these ideas can enhance my instruction.
Here's just a brief list of what I'd like to study:
*Setting up a Twitter account for Dieterich CUSD Marching Band & Dieterich Choirs
*Privacy and Safety Settings on Twitter
*Google Classroom (I know the basics, but I want to explore more)
*Creately (When is best to use in instruction)
*Online enrollment in marching band competitions, parades, etc.
*Shortcuts to save time creating instrument inventory
*Platforms and devices to assist in maintaining a music library
